Access Control Clerk (NACS-17-1973-W)

Bowhead is seeking experienced personnel to perform lead access control functions providing access control support at a main or front desk at the Combat Direction Systems Activity (CDSA), Dam Neck in Virginia Beach, VA.

Additional requirements include:

– Three (3) years of experience in the area of classified control.

– Experience must include oversight of the transmission, receipt, tracking, and destruction of classified material per DOD/DON policies.

– Ability to effectively manage scheduling of personnel to ensure coverage of multiple buildings/facilities.

– Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and to communicate effectively orally and through written reports in specified formats.

– Experience in the use of clearance verification systems, badge access and alarm systems and the escorting of uncleared (personnel without US security clearances) personnel within classified spaces.

– Knowledge of the Lenel Enterprise Control/Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS).


Secret Clearance Required w/ ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Security clearance at the Secret level may be required. US Citizenship is required for Secret clearance at this location
