MLT Systems Logistician III in Portsmouth, Virginia

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award anticipated to be in November 2017. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Secret Clearance.

MLT Systems, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is seeking a qualified and experienced Logistician III to provide professional logistics support services to the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Command, Control, Communication, Computer, and Information Technology (C4IT) Service Center (SC).

Description: The selected Logistician III will produce Maintenance Procedure Cards (MPCs), conduct Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analyses and construct Maintenance Requirements Lists (MRLs) for identified systems. All development work performed under this contract will be in compliance with referenced Military Standards (MIL-STDs), Coast Guard Instructions and work flow processes. Quality Control (QC) and validation processes shall be established and maintained to ensure the accuracy, currency, and compliance with referenced procedures for all MPCs, RCM analyses and MRLs.

Develop MPCs (that may include technical illustrations, graphics), test equipment requirements, Supply Item Change Record (SICR) requests, Item Entry Proposal (IEP) preparation, and ensure conversion to required format for publishing in Coast Guard Logistics Information Management System-Surface Technical Information Portal (CGLIMS-STIP). Verify that all supply items required to perform the MPC tasks are available in the Federal Supply System (FSS) and submit Supply System Change Requests to the COR for any new supply items required to perform the MPC tasks. Schedule and assign MPC development tasks for equipment specialists and other logisticians as required.

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in a Business or Management field, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience in logistics acquisition and logistics planning.

Experience: Candidates shall be certified Level II Reliability Centered Maintenance Analyst and have at least ten (10) years’ experience in systems maintenance analysis. Five (5) years should be specific to maintenance analysis and planning of USCG shipboard systems. Candidates should be experienced in the use of a variety of Coast Guard supported databases such as ALMIS, AMMIS, NESSS, FLS, ACMS, FEDLOG, Oracle FAM and SFLC Central.
