POSITION SUMMARY
Performs a variety of duties related to the distribution of drugs in a knowledgeable and mature manner, under the direction of a Pharmacist, in order to enable and assure the expeditious provision of medications to all patients and designated areas. Participates as a team member by performing additional assignments not directly related to the job description when workload requires and as requested by the supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school graduate.
At least one-year hospital or two years retail experience. Pharmacy technician certification required.
Certification by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board required.
