Applicant will support all facets of manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving for the Field Repair Facility at Lockheed Martin’s MS2 Virginia Beach, VA Operations center. A significant portion of responsibilities will include support to the Q70 Mini-Stock-Point involving the receipt and packaging of stock for storage and shipment: identification of part number / revision level of carcasses returned and the shipping requisition to which it should be applied: inspection of carcasses for damage and completion of all associated Depot Level Repair (DLR) carcass processing cycle documentation. Applicant performs manual and clerical shipping and / or receiving duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, palletizing of material for shipment, as well as computers to maintain data. Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials: prepares records of materials shipped and bills of lading: routes materials to designations. Personal characteristics must include attention to detail, ability to work independently but willingness to be a team player, good verbal and written communication skills to help resolve issues and discrepancies as they arise, and demonstrate a mature / professional work ethic.

Basic Qualifications The ability to read and understand packing slips. Previous work in a receiving / stocking environment is a must. Strong communication and computer skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, while paying close attention to details. Ability to prioritize multiple issues and maintain strong customer support. Self-starter with the ability to work alone and with a team. Applicant must be able to periodically lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to train to operate a folk lift.

Desired skills Knowledge of an automated receiving and inventory management system. Previous work dealing with electronics parts, Q70 navy-use parts, or Q70 shipboard parts experience a plus.
