Product Delivery Manager

Job Summary:

The PDM is overall responsible for

• Management of assigned Travel Technology products & solutions

• Day-to-day management of vendor relationship and activities related to product functionality

• Coordination of, and communication with, key internal stakeholders in relation to product and vendor

• Orchestration of the roadmap/features/development by iteration as dictated by the Product Strategy or Business Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Specific Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Core Responsibility 1: Vendor / Development Team Relationship

· Manage product escalations as required

· Monthly service review with vendor/development teams and BCD Travel stakeholders.

Core Responsibility 2: Product Release Management

· Identification of core BCD Travel stakeholder team responsible for product release

· Coordination of release activities including testing, operational alignment, documentation, communication per release with BCD Travel stakeholders in line with the established release management process

· Release features documentation

Core Responsibility 3: ProductRequirements & Roadmap Management

· Monthly identification & coordination of product requirements with BCD Travel stakeholders per business case

· Ensuring appropriate requirement documentation delivered and reviewed by relevant stakeholder teams

· Ensuring appropriate technical feasibility and compliance documentation delivered by stakeholder teams

· Monthly review & prioritization of BCD Travel requirements with vendor/development team

· Monthly update & distribution of product roadmap and development status per requirement

Core Responsibility 4: Product & Portfolio Analysis

· Semi-Annually vendor/product analysis and review including SWOT including Gap Analysis, Comparison Matrix, USPs and identification of key opportunities

· Support Vendor selection/RFP process if required.

Core Responsibility 5: Communication

· Release presentation to BCD Travel stakeholders – per release cycle

· Six-monthly strategic update to BCD Travel stakeholders of vendor & product including Comparison Matrix, USPs, product positioning

· Prepare and conduct adhoc product presentations as required.

· Assist with training classes as required maybe classroom led, web driven, on-site, etc)

Core Responsibility 6: Reporting & Budgeting

· Monthly reporting including productivity, key service metrics and product status

· Weekly status/activity reporting

· Compile monthly usage and deployment report

· Manage and monitor annual usage and cost budgetMaintenance of key product documentation in Chatter group

Core Responsibility 7: Tools & Documentation

· Compile and maintain core and product documentation for commercial, implementation and support teams

· Maintenance of release management documentation (incl project plans) per release

· Maintenance of key product documentation in Chatter group.

Education / Knowledge / Experience :(Subject to local laws and practices)

Essential:

· Minimum of 3 years experience in the corporate travel industry or corporate travel technology sales

· Excellent hands-on practical knowledge of technology such as GDS, MIS, OBT, etc.

· Strong understanding of TMC or BCD operational processes

· Strong understanding of technical concepts and processes

· Excellent presentation and consulting skills

· Excellent practical knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English

Preferred:

· Experience in product management area

· Good knowledge of additional language: French, German or Spanish

· International experience desired
