Duties and RESPONSIBILITIES:

CACI has an opening for a HBSS/Information Security Analyst in our Norfolk, VA location to support the Information Assurance Manager / Information Assurance Team (IAM/IA) on both Theater Medical Information Program Maritime (TMIP-M) project. Candidate must have a current / active Secret Level Clearance.

The selected candidate will develop, test and monitor effectiveness of internal HBSS TTPs / SOPs; coordinate with external organizations developing HBSS TTPs/SOPs to maximize synergy Candidate will develop, test and monitor effectiveness of internal HBSS TTPs/SOPs and act as the SME for the HBSS capability management providing guidance to the HBSS Support Admins. The candidate shall facilitate delivery of HBSS SME tracking/artifacts/documentation demonstrating compliant status to the Team Lead.

Duties include:

  • Provide SME level support for the HBSS Fleet Centralization

  • Develop, test, monitor and work with HBSS support Admins on internal TTPs/SOPs.

  • Work with CNDSP and external organizations

  • Resolve Electronic Policy Orchestrator (ePO) server (O/S, ePO, or SQL) issues

  • Maintain the ePO server (automated tasks, task scheduler, database maintenance tasks, etc.) for assigned projects.

  • Review of HBSS threat events

  • Refine server tasks and policies as needed (tagging, ASCI, tree structure, etc.)

  • Lead in development, testing and deployment of HBSS application policies

  • Assist Software Developers/sysadmins with troubleshooting when HBSS may/may not be the issue

  • Assist troubleshooting efforts related to HBSS policies on other networks, which may involve educating the HBSS admin

  • Update/Create POR policies as new signatures are issued and deliver via CM system used to deliver policies to the fleet.

  • Respond to Cybercom Task Orders (CTOs), Action Information Management System (AIMS), Fragmentary Order (FRAGO) related to HBSS implementation

Required Qualifications:

  • Active secret clearance

  • 8570.01-M (CSWF) requirement for this position is IAT level II; candidate must meet this qualification upon first day of employment.

  • Have completed HBSS 301, 501 DISA hosted classroom instruction within 6 months date of hire.

  • Expert knowledge of administrating servers

  • Solid understanding of Microsoft operating systems and networking

  • Familiarity with Microsoft GPOs

  • Understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems

  • Understanding how to view the IPS Effective Policy on the ePO Server for a client/workstation which illustrates what the actual combined IPS policies are

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience analyzing target environment for introduction of HBSS to include agent deployment, policy tuning, white listing and exception list creation

  • Experience supporting daily HBSS operations; work to resolve all network issues related to McAfee Point Products (McAfee Agent, Host Intrusion Prevention System, Policy Auditor, Rogue Sensor detection, etc.)

  • Understanding of HBSS client/server logs on the actual client/server hard disk of the system being investigated and on the HBSS ePO Threat Event logs. i.e. some IPS data on the client/server hard disk is not displayed on ePO Threat Event logs
