Job Description


Responsible to manage all resources needed for the effective launch of new products and problems solving; achieving the quality level required by our customers, with the lowest cost with an emphasis on excellence in manufacturing.

­Collaborate with lead plant and installation location to create specifications to ensure equipment purchase is specified correctly for ongoing operations and to meet business goals.

­Manage competency roadmap, in conjunction with operations to ensure team competencies, adequate support from all departments (Plant IE/ Quality/ Logistics/ Lead plant)

­Manage timing to ensure that purchased equipment meets milestones (Sample Builds/ PPAPs/ RNR, SOP/ Ramp up)

­Escalation of specific issues impacting timing/ cost/ performance as necessary.

­Coordination of PPAP/ Sample deliveries, Ramp­up preparation, expansion/ improvements in Serial Production

­Coordination of all relevant process documentation required for milestones (Capability/ PPAP/ FMEA Quality documentation/ Traceability/ Line release)

­Line layouts, optimization and coordination of facility planning for installation to meet timing/ cost targets.

­Investment forecast management, preparation of forecasts and adherence, capital minimization efforts.

­Management of improvement activities through SOP + 6 mos

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

·Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably mechanical)

-3 years experience in a manufacturing/project management environment

·Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), problem solving, Failure Mode Effects Analyst (FMEA) processes and customer issues

·Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

·Demonstrated record of strong project leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

-Prefer experience in High Pressure Pump manufacturing

·Prefer experience in automotive manufacturing environment

·Ability to learn and master Lean and Six Sigma concepts and tools

·AutoCAD experience desirable

-­Project Management experience

-Master's degree preferred
