HVAC Account Executive ColonialWebb, a Comfort Systems USA company, is seeking a driven and customer-oriented sales professional with strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge. As our HVAC Account Executive, you’ll spend 50% of your time selling maintenance agreements and 50% of your time selling design-build projects to commercial B2B customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Expand our presence within the marketplace, seek out new business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, and heavy networking.

  • Sell HVAC maintenance agreements and commercial projects (i.e., equipment replacements, retrofits, installations, etc.).

  • Consult with customers regarding their operating expenses and energy conservation initiatives. Provide customers with new industry trends, capital budgets, technology and industry news.

  • Drive customer retention and build win/win relationships, continually seek to understand customer objectives and how our services may fit into their needs.

  • Participate in community and industry organizations, represent ColonialWebb in outside activities to enhance our reputation, exposure, and goodwill in the region.

What we’re looking for:

Experience, Education, and Certifications:

  • Highly successful track record of selling HVAC maintenance agreements and projects (new installations, replacements, and retrofits) to B2B customers in the local market.

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is nice to have, but not required).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of commercial HVAC/mechanical systems.

  • Possess strong sales skills and abilities necessary for proposals, closing deals, and customer retention.

  • Sophisticated networker and member of applicable industry associations.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service and phone skills.

  • Ability to manage customer relationships, perceptions, and expectations.

  • Demonstrated skills, experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

  • Ability to deal diplomatically and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
