External Job Description:
Experience with, and detailed job knowledge of, Navy mold-in-place hull coating systems. May require periods of significant travel within the US. Project management ability is required, as is the demonstrated ability to independently interface successfully with Navy customers, their technical Communities, and the NNS Production environment.
B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical or Civil Engineering with experience or education in polyurethane processing or ship construction desirable.This is requisition requires engagement in research and/or product development encompassing one or more of the following engineering disciplines: electronics, electrical, mechanical, and/or chemical.
Incumbent must be assertive and seeking an Engineering position that includes office, laboratory and production environments. Ability to lead and communicate successfully with internal and external customers and Suppliers is required. MS Office Suite computer skills are required, with AutoCAD and MATLAB knowledge desirable.
