Camber Corporation is seeking a Terrain Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join our diverse, team-oriented company that is customer focused and employee driven. Associate degree or higher.
Three or more years’ experience with GIS and terrain development tools.
2 years’ experience developing Unity, Unreal, or VBS3 terrain.
2 years’ experience developing correlated simulation terrains.
At least one year of experience using ESRI ArcGIS Suite.
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
Excellent oral and written communication skills, computer literacy with Microsoft Office.
Ability to travel. Work week may include shifts and weekends.
Secret clearance is required. Must be eligible for TS/SCI.

Build, test, & provide legacy support for terrain databases in support of US Army simulation requirements.
Knowledge of geospatial source data types & collection of source data.
Familiar with Windows 7 or higher operating systems and file systems.
Comfortable providing technical support to US military customers.
Familiar with working in a team environment
Experience with Global Mapper
Experience with ESRI CityEngine
Primary duties of the Terrain Engineer include:
Critically examine source documents and material for applicability in producing terrain products and updating digital databases.
Analyze conflicting source material, overlapping spatial conflicts, variable reliability of source data, and then resolve conflicting information and produce terrain databases that are appropriate for TBOC training and support uses.
Identify requirements and implement analytical techniques necessary to solve terrain issues.
Provide technical user support for all aspects of terrain data and software.
Create and maintain the TBOC 3D terrain database.
Ensures software standards are met.
