Leidos Senior Programmer - Chesapeake, VA in CHESAPEAKE, Virginia


Leidos is seeking an experienced Programmer for its Integrated Logistics Center in Chesapeake, VA. You will be responsible for maintaining and manipulating existing software applications, writing new and modifying existing source code, developing new applications, contributing to logistics development, and maintaining several key program databases, such as Oracle Database, Integrated Product Data Management/Enhanced Product Data Management and Configuration Status Accounting.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience/combined education.

*Must be clearable and have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Candidate should possess one or more of the following skills:

  • Java or C++ programming, strong object oriented programming knowledge required

  • HTML

  • XML

  • Knowledge of Oracle Database (administration, maintenance, generation, manipulation)

  • Demonstrated documentation and code-testing skills

  • Technical writing skills

  • Must possess a minimum interim secret clearance and ability obtain a final secret clearance.

Desired Skills, but not required:

  • 9 years of practical OOP experience is desired

  • Microsoft SharePoint

  • Active secret clearance
